Dueling Gnoland
Dueling Gnloand was conceived of in 2009 as a solo project. Originally it was a folk, singer-songwriter project I created in order to play around at open mics without the bands I was in at the time.
After a few years, Dueling Gnloand would become home to all my solo work. Most of which consisted of improvised songs, as well as one-day songs, in which I wrote, recorded, edited, mixed, and published in one day. This music consisted mostly of experimental acoustic, ambient, rock, blues, jazz, funk. I played all the instruments including guitar, clarinet, piano, drums, and singing.
The cleanest and clearest recordings from this project emerged in 2020 during the pandemic. Although I worked full-time in a grocery store at the time, I also found myself diving deeply into writing and recording, which I hadn’t done in earnest since 2009. California Sessions emerged from this time. All of my work can be found on my Bandcamp, Subvert, and Youtube. All of my most recent work is on Youtube.
