A couple years ago, after spending many, many months in France visiting my now wife, I had a lot of time on my hands while she worked during the days. Through these countless hours I rediscovered a creative side of myself that had been dormant close to 15 years.
I had always kept up with playing music, but never really progressing. But I kept It alive. But during this time in France I rediscovered my capacity and love for creating visual art.

It started slowly at first. I started watercoloring, and then it grew and grew into something all consuming. When my wife and I got married in the summer of 2025, I decided that once I moved to France, I was going to pursue this side of myself in earnest. This meant building a daily studio habit.

In January of 2026, my wife and I reentered her somewhat dormant studio and we brought our creative lives fully back. We dove headfirst into our creative pursuits. It was my first time devoting my life to being an artist.

My creative life has always been a mix of writing, music, and visual art. And it continues that way.
During the summer of 2025, after feeling restricted with small scale works and finding a killer deal on larger 50F canvas I began my journey with large-scale work. Although I would like to paint much larger works, I also must sell some of them too! Not enough space in the studio to store them all.
